Baker is newly certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the State of Illinois.

Our certification validates that Baker is 51% owned, controlled, operated and managed by a woman. The WBE certification process is arduous and time-consuming. To achieve certification Baker completed and submitted formal documentation on the business such as the company’s Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws and annual P&L statements. Throughout the long process, we received support from the Illinois Procurement and Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) in Glen Ellyn.
